Come on, you know you love a personality quiz, right? Here's a new one for you, a practical one. Because that's MY personality - I'm not too frivolous. ...Though I do often find myself clicking on those, you know, just to see what my answer is...not that I would admit that publicly or anything...
Let's dive in here, and discuss four different ways your personality affects your productivity, and then you can take the quiz to see where you fall. or, if you're in a hurry, scroll to the bottom to access the quiz right away.
Are you a tortoise or a hare? If you have a personality type that gets-stuff-done, you're probably a hare. There's nothing wrong with being a slow-and-steady tortoise... because they do tend to have less errors. If they finish the task, ahem.
Number of Projects-In-Process
Scattered squirrel or straight arrow? How many projects do you currently have started sitting in your office/workspace (or hiding on your computer so no one else sees)? Some personality types thrive in a busy environment with LOTS of things to work on, because they might get bored if they don't have 50,000 things going on. And the other half of the population just gets overwhelmed by the idea of that many projects happening at once. Where do you fall?
Library or Concertina? Some people thrive in silence. Others can't stand the sound of silence, and need a constant background noise to get anything accomplished. Neither is right or wrong, but pay attention next time you're fully focused on what you're doing. Is it loud or quiet where you're at?
On your Desktop
Meticulous or Messy? Maybe you have files all over the place. Or maybe they're arranged in perfect alphabetical order, and then inside each folder, the contents are sorted by date too. the real question is - how much time are you wasting looking for what you need? Either way is OK, as long as you can find what you're looking for.
So where exactly DO you fall in the time-personality spectrum? Take the quiz and find out!
When you're done, come back and tell us your result in the comments! I'd love to know!
